Always good to see other creative people who understand the frustrations.Cie Cheesemeisterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14871507564733240927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20338153.post-65559402394530508192007-01-16T04:00:00.000-07:002007-01-16T04:00:00.000-07:00I don't think you're a loser - I think you have am...I don't think you're a loser - I think you have amazing creativity. It's a rare and often unappreciated commodity. It's very rare to get rich as an author of anything, at least not while you're alive. Be true to your own concept of artistic and literary value and you will already have more than most people.Indeterminacyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11112417911577798263noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20338153.post-43543419993179230682007-01-08T23:21:00.000-07:002007-01-08T23:21:00.000-07:00Thanks, T&I, very much.

He sometimes doesn't have a hell of a lot of tact and he prefers reading the type of science fiction that describes the minute details about the machinery, etc, or he reads spy novels. I prefer horror, space opera and mysteries. He hasn't in any way tried to turn my work into the stuff he prefers. He just said the wrong thing at the wrong time. Anyway, you're right. Who's to say who's a winner and who's a loser? Thanks again!Cie Cheesemeisterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14871507564733240927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20338153.post-82251651782497873582007-01-08T16:02:00.000-07:002007-01-08T16:02:00.000-07:00I often feel that way, but when I think about it, ...I often feel that way, but when I think about it, there don't seem to be winners and losers, just some people keep plugging away until they get their way and what they want. Stephen King got disgusted and threw his first novel in the fireplace and his wife pulled it out of the flames. It was Cary. You'll really hate yourself if you just give up. I know I do because I gave up way back when. None of them helps you just because they like you or your work, they have their own motivations and want a piece of the action somehow. Publishers and editors are usually the losers who can't write themselves and want to make it on the backs of someone who can. It's all chaos. Life's a bitch and then we die. Don't be your own enemy, we have enough sneaky bastards trying to play us. Kick ass! Good luck.Tom & Icyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02184377353312923689noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20338153.post-24001102683441221912007-01-08T04:32:00.000-07:002007-01-08T04:32:00.000-07:00Tom & Icy et al, Weirdso et al,
