I've decided to go with Outskirts Press in Parker, Colorado. Not only will they print the books and help set up an e-book version, they will help with distribution. I looked at several other 0n-demand publishers but this one seems like it will provide the most bang for my buck.
Lost Beneath The Surface will go to press this spring! I am finishing the clean-up work and starting work on the second book. I actually have about 2000 pages of material but it's haphazard. It's hard to be organized when you're bipolar, but creativity isn't all chaotic fun. (Damn!)
I started the story that spawned this phenomenon in 1992, so what can I say? It's about goddamn time!

We wish you the best of luck! I had thought of trying that years ago, but lost my faith in myself. I had taken several courses in college and got bogged down with rhetorical techniques which destroyed the natural flow in my writing and thinking. I sometimes wonder what would have happened if I had tried. But now will never know. So I hope you keep the faith and I will be in line to buy the book. Your writing seems to carry us along like a stick floating in a rapid stream. Love it. Best of luck!
You should get the faith back! Your writing is a lot of fun and very inspiring to me. I look forward to reading it each day--seriously!
Hey! Icy just started her old blog back up called "Rhetorical Icy" where she explains a writing technique and then you write a sentence or paragraph using the technique. It's like being back in school again! You can find it in her profile.
This is interesting. Seems like they offer a lot of options and promotional tools, which is good.
Which package did you choose?
I will be going with the Diamond package. But I have to wait till Spring when I get my taxes. I live paycheck to paycheck and am completely out of everything at the end of the week. No joke!
Congratulations. Be sure to let us know when it's out.
