Terry stuttered and spoke in broken sentences, taking long, deep breaths during the pauses: "I forgot... well, actually... I didn't remember that I had forgotten... but forgot to remember... and then remembered that I forgot... but couldn't remember what I forgot... and didn't realize I had amnesia."
You know, I often feel that way!
