A Deviant Entry

Dare you answer Cailleach's question?
“What is deviant in his desire to have a place to dwell where he does not feel like an outcast? What is deviant in his desire to have a mate with whom to spend eternity? What is deviant in his desire to offer sanctuary to other outcast souls? What is deviant in his desire to have the happiness he was denied in life?” Cailleach demanded.

He began to strum an air guitar and sing: "Down at the end of lonely street, is heartbreak Hotel..."
"I'm serious. You're being silly!" Cailleach scorned with a face that could turn the dead into stone. "For once answer me without all this round-a-bout game-playing shit!"
"This once I shall, if you so insist." He slowly moved closer, a step closer with each sentence. "You are dead, dead, dead. Dead I say! You're a ghost, yes, a ghostly apparition. You crossed the line. She hasn't. You are on this side. She is on that side. When a car drives on the wrong side of the line, there is a collision. You crossing back over the line with this flesh will lead to catastrophe, for sure. Oh, mark these words. You should move on with your journey and she should live her life. I see trouble ahead for both of you if this relationship continues. That's just how I feel. That's just what I believe."
"I don't see it that way! Not at all!" Cailleach retorted and circling him while speaking. "She has a lot to learn from my experiences. I could help her in her living. Help her live more fully with greater understanding."
"Face it, Caileach!" He scorned. "You are just living 'through' her. You screwed up your own life and missed out on happiness and you are trying to re-live again through her life."
Cailleach huffed away in a cloud of anger saying, "That's not true. That's just not true!"

Wow...that's actually close to what's going on in the story! A little different, but kind of eerie nonetheless. Excellent entry!
